Hey everyone! Tonight I wanted to take some time to share with you my favourite beauty products. I used to spend a lot of time and money on make-up subscriptions, trying out new products and then realized they sat in my drawer while I kept going back to my favourites. So here are some of my all time favs!
Let’s talk eyes. I have not found a must have eye shadow and am still searching for that elusive mascara so if you have any suggestions, please share. But my eyeliner, is a solid go to every time. I use Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner and I absolutely love it! It is by far the easiest to apply eye liner I’ve ever used. Those trendy winged lines are easy to make with this product. It glides super smoothly and doesn’t feather or smudge like others I’ve tried. I also like how it stays all day without any crumbling (with a primer of course. I always buy mine at Sephora.
That primer I’m talking about is Nars Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. It’s super lightweight and has an easy to apply applicator. I used to get creases after a couple hours with other primers but this one makes my eye makeup, including those winged lines stay all day! I even used this in tropical places and it lasted all day.
Next up face. To be honest I haven’t tried any other foundations for a long time because I love mine so much. I use Mac Mineralize Moisture SPF 15 Foundation in NC20. I find it has a nice light coverage for those foundation and mascara days. I do not have oily or dry skin though so not sure if that will make a difference. Most days I put in on very lightly then cover with Mac Studio Fix pressed powder also in NC20. The combination of the 2 offer a full lightweight coverage without that caked on look.
My favourite bronzer is one I found forever ago. It’s Gosh Giant Sun Powder Metallic Gold. It’s a huge compact and I don’t know how long this stuff lasts for but I have a feeling I’ll throw it before I use it. It’s the perfect colour for a bronzer and gives a beautiful glow. Gosh cosmetics tend to be pretty cheap too.
I have so many highlighters from all my subscriptions but found this one to be the best. Benefit Cosmetics Watt’s Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter. It is quite glittery when first applied so you do need to blend it in but then it leaves a subtle illuminating look! I love how it goes on so smoothly like all creams but stays on and looks like a powder. As you can see all I had left was a small sample size. I used all of my regular size up already, I love it that much!
If you have any suggestions on amazing face primer, lipstick or mascara let me know!
